15 months

Luke had his 15 month appt. a couple of days ago. Poor guy had to go through 4 shots to the leg and drawing blood. I will not miss these times. He is doing good though. Crawling a lot, just started to bear crawl and try to stand up from it. He is pulling himself up on a regular basis and starting to cruise along furniture. He is also wanting to try to walk with us holding his hands. He can tell us what a sheep says, a horse says, a dog says and working on others. He is becoming more and more vocal and is such a lil' joy in our lives.

He was 33 3/4 inches (95th %) and weighed 23 1/2 pounds) 25 % for weight. And of course his head is also on the smaller side (25th %). The doctor was pleased with how he was growing and progressing with therapy.

Luke is 1!!!

I can hardly believe that he is already 1. This last year has flown by. We had a party for him at my parent's house in Holland so most of the family could make it. He would not touch his cake at first, that is until daddy stuck a little frosting in his mouth. That's when it was all over and I have never seen a baby with more cake/frosting smeared all over. He def. enjoyed all the cake and frosting.
He has begun to babble more and more. He started to say mama the day before his first birthday and can also say ball (or what we can tell is ball), bye bye, and da da. He is such a delight! He seems to be quite the social lil' man and is content most of the time.
He just had his year check up and is 31 1/2 inches tall (90-95th percentile) 21lbs 4oz (25th percentil). He is starting to army crawl a tad bit and def. making progress with his physical therapy.

We love our little lukey pookie as Austin calls him! :)

Almost a year old!!

Can't believe my lil' man is almost a year old. I am just a bit late on posting something..... :)
Luke is my social laid back lil' man. He currently enjoys saying dada or baba and pointing at everything. He also waves quite often, and claps whenever someone says good job. :) He is mostly all smiles and like his big bro really likes listening and dancing to music. :) He is not crawling yet because of being born with low muscle tone and having hyper mobile joints. He is def. getting stronger though! A couple of days ago I went to get him up in the morning and found him sitting up in his pack n play (we were in Holland). :)
Oh how I love this lil' man! He lights up the whole room with his smile and lil' giggle! :)
